Hello all,
I have had v twins before but my first Aprilia is a 2000 rsvr first registered 2003. Full of character.
What's the best risers without changing anything else?

? Risers they have clip ons...do you mean height adjustable clip ons

Or has it been converted to bars?

Yes sorry I meant clip ons, I believe woodcraft or similar are ok up to 1.5 in height without the need to change.
As you are on line the speedo is not working and I have got a new speed sensor to fit as I think this is a common problem, do you know is it simply a case of disconnect the old one and plug in the new one with nothing to reset?

If you are sure that it's the speed sensor and not a clocks problem.......when you change the cable, it's plug and play

Yes plug and play..... Clean the bolts up first on the rear disc in case it's just that never heard of a clock issue on a gen 1

Woodcraft expensive if budget is an issue there are cheaper adjustable bars on ebay

Clocks are working fine and were reading an erratic speed then just stopped, I had the sensor out and it looks intact but as its electrics nobody really knows until its take apart so a new one seemed easier.
Cost is not really an option as far as clip ons are concerned ( not rich ) but I just want to make sure they are good quality, Chinese sound good if they are up to scratch.
