Did try the new rsv4 factory today. Was not impressed by it, my 00 mille has mutch better acceleration than the rsv4. Did not like the look on it either, looks like a honda.
 
Imust admit that I like the look of the RSV4 but the price tag is seriously putting me off. I saw one in Padgetts of Batley last week that was sold to a customer, it had a full Akra system and some bits n pieces fitted and the cost was £17,800, thats crazy. Any way Ilove my 2004 RSV Factory so will maybe keep it that bit longer.......

There must be seriously something wrong with the one you tried. I have tried a blade, R1, RC8R, GSXR and 1198S. The RSV4 is not the most powerfull one but for power spread, it is among the best if not top. For raw out and out power it must be the RC8 or 1198.
 
I saw one return to a dealer after a test ride at the weekend.

It sounded like a bag of spanners tappety tap tap tap.
The guy that test rode it said he came back because he thought it was broken but the dealer said it was normal. :dunno

Don't do anything for me but i'm sure it's fast if that's what rocks your boat.
Not many 180mph straights in Devon though.

Cheesy has a mate that had a 30mph spill on one.

Footpeg. left side panel, clip on, clutch lever and left switchgear.

£2500 please sir, and that's the parts cost. KERRRRCHING
 
£17500 that is nothing compared to the price in norway witch is £30500 for that bike. And from 0-60 there is no way that bike would have beaten mine. I did test drive it for over 1hr so i did get to test it pretty good.
 
15K is a lot of money. I got my 08 RSVR for 4.7k, there is no way it is 3 times the bike.
 
It is that insane taxes on cars and bikes over here. and my insurance is £900 a year with 75% bonus (witch u have to ride without accident for 5 years to get) if u are under 24 years old u have to pay £3500 or more for an insurance. :angry
 
But well worth it to live where you do. I went to stravanger once, it seemed all ugly women were either killed at birth or exported to my town :)
