hello all, i am a new rsv owner i have a 2004 rsv 1000r, and the last time i rode it after i filled it up the gas cap leaked and got gas on my clothes.

Did you overfil it perhaps? Is it a standard cap? Or did you wash it then thrash it? If so its water. If not maybe the rubber gasket has expired?
