Just like to say hi to everyone the missus let my by a bike after 5 years have jumped on a 99 RSV previously had a 750 gixxer and all I can say is wow I love the VTwins

now the questions what are the standard upgrades it has a Akropavic pipe already and thats it, I have looked around the site and am confused were to go so any info would be great.

Welcom mate.

The first mods to look at are,

1: Uprated solenoid, standard is 50 amp uprate to 150 for easier starting.
2: Uprate to a stronger battery.
3: Change gearing to 16/44 for smoother riding.
4: Open airbox mod.
5: Modified exhaust collector

Just a short list to get you started, if you have any questions just give the shop a call, costs nothing for advice.

Im in Aus so over here its hard to get parts and advice if you can pm me and explain the collector mod and also price the rest besides the battery as of postage costs that would be great cheers mate :thumbup
