New old Boy

Yes looks nice and clean - is that a smoked headlight cover? Sure mine is much clearer than that or is the pic?

Thanks so far guys I forgot to mention that I am 6'1" and about 16 stone. So I'm a biggish lad and concerned about seat height. It may be the dogs bollox but if I look I'm riding a Fsie it I wont be best pleased

Simmo
Welcome Simmo & enjoy.

Mate, where do you think Batfastard got his name from (sorry Paul not sure of your actual statistics, lol) & he can ride the legs of the Tuono.

As others said, any of them will put a smile on ya face. Personally I prefer the looks of the Gen2 but each to their own. Got a standard R as couldn’t afford a factory but more than enough bike for me anyway!

Doh, just read the thread again & seen your new purchase, very nice but them red ones are slower :lol

Nice and tidy example bike, same year as mine but mine is the grey colour. Take note of the battery problem, that's probably why it's reading KPH, but it's simple enought to change that. Invest in some sort of battery charger and let it live on it when not in use, I found out the hard way. Enjoy it, enjoy the grin.
Oh and do get rid of that cannon stuck to the side of it.

I dunno I quite the cannon on the side adds to the look. I'm not up for much adding on to the bike. It took long enough to get it and the long haired general has given me the gypsy's lol Red is definetly the colour without doubt

Nice real nice looking T. Good on you mate. You will see that the V motor will speak volumes to you over the I4. When it whispers its soooo sweet, when it screams you will smile like the Cheshire cat hisself. Just remember to try to keep the horns from sprouting out of your head too much and enjoy the ride. Be safe.

red Gen 1's are best for "Oooop I've gone cross country and now look I've lost all my mates and my trousers have fallen round my ankles ... and I'm wearing wellies so might as well have a crack at a sheep" type ride outs in parts of Wales not known to Google maps.

You could at least offered to lend Sixt your sat nav

The bike only came with one key.Are the keys programmed to the bike or are they normal keys?

Had my first ride on the new bike today huge grin all the way. Must remember to count the gears. Bit of an arse trying to find neautral but I'll get there veeery niace!!!!!!:thumbup

Yeah I find it a pain in the arse counting the gears but can usually tell where I am as I never usually ride around at more than 60mph. I'm a law abiding citizen.

So Bay you can ride around at 60mph without an MOT & still be law abiding ,how does that work then:biggrin
