:thumbup Finished the badger airbox mod today,and fitted the YTX14-BS Varta battery and brand new starter solenoid from yamaha XTZ750.
Boy what a difference to the starting,starts first time every time now.Even tho the battery is not listed for the R model and is some 16mm higher,it fits ok.You only need to put a longer bolt in battery clamp and some washers to space it.
The air box mod feels like there is more go,i didnt notice a change in more sound tho,but i did not strip the bottom of tank and my pipe is fairly loud.
