Hi to all the Aprilia lovers out their. I have caught the Tuono bug and I'm itch-n to join the club. I'm here to learn and do my homework before I drop the serious amount of cash it will take for me to get well again. I'm waiting for the 2010 to arrive before I make any commitments. I'm leaning towards a factory bike but I never say never at my age. I'm looking forward to reading and lusting over all your post and pictures of your bikes. See ya on the boards.
 
I am totally happy with my R model. The Factory gives you a shitload of bling for a minimal amount of cash. Depends on the deal you can get I suppose. Either way, yer going to be very happy with yer Tuono. The rest of us sure as hell do.

Well? Any more news on the acquisition? I am now semi seriously looking for a Factory since surfing the kitty litter with Andiamo. I blame Nobby for my desire to acquire one of those gold framed monstrosities... Not selling Andiamo... just going to get her wired etc for the track next summer... maybe. Damn you Nobby!

Nope I'm going to take my time. I have a new KLR to play with. I want to see if I can snag a good deal on a new 08 or 09 Factory when the four cylinder hits the streets this year or next. This gives me a chance to collect my doe-ray-me and wait till Aprilia has some worth while incentives to buy (the ducks are giving low % financing and free maintenance for the first year. I always get in to big a hurry and miss out on the deals. So for the time being I will have to live vicariously through all of you. Keep posting Tuono **** for me, I love everyones pic.

Good luck on your yellow fervor. Personally I would prefer black (may be another good reason for me to wait). But the gold rims help pull it off.
 
I'm not going to weep if they change that damn gold frame. I like my polished aluminium one on the R. Mebbe black would look good with the Factory...

Epic thread jack huh, Sean??! I like to think of it as a warning as to what kind of reprobates, rogues, and ne'er do wells that that this fine young gentleman may be thinking of associating with.

Got the retro leathers back, kids, and I intend to rock them at the track again tomorrow. I'm told that the scuffs give me street cred. **** that, I'd rather have Andiamo pristine still... The *** in the leathers looks better than my lily white one with green, purple, and yellow blotches. This is why none of you A-holes ain't nurses... no caring or ******* empathy... bastids...

I did look at some used bikes on cycle trader but a new 07 (under $8K) was cheeper at the dealership than what sellers needed to get out of there bikes. If I find someone who has low millage used mint bike for sale and wants to sell it considerable cheeper than I can buy a new two year old bike with zero miles and a warranty I would certainly consider it. I was thinking a new 08 factory for $10K or so next year after the new T-quad comes out mite be the ticket. Good things come to those who wait.
