Hey, everybody.
I've owned my '05 Tuono from new, but have only now got my act together to join a forum. I'm live in the badlands of Glasgow and the Tuono is my sole transport and weekend blaster all rolled into one. It's done everything from long-distance European touring and thrashing around the Nurburg Ring to hauling plants from Ikea without any major complaints.
The modifications so far include a set of R&G's, a full Akra system from an Edwards rep, a tail tidy, radiator guards and lower handlebar raisers. There are assorted carbon bits and a rear shock linkage plate to raise the back end a bit waiting to go on the bike. I'd like to shave a fair bit of weight off the bike, so more carbon is on the cards and I've been looking for a MotoGP-style end can to fit the original downpipes to clean the backend. Any suggestions are listened to.
Also once the current chain and sprockets kick the bucket, I'd like to re-gear the bike for a bit more low-down kick. I'm sure you guys have plenty of experience on that front, so feel free to give me a shout for tooth numbers front and rear and chain lengths and where to get the right bits.
Happy riding to all!
