New Improved Sidestand

Hi Peeps...........

I have the above arriving in 2 weeks ( so my engineering shop tells me )...!!!

These sidestands are thinner than the last evolution & stronger.

They fit all MILLE'S /TUONO'S/ FALCO'S/RSVR'S

I will post pictures on here as soon as they are ready.

Just to make it crystal clear to anyone else that is reading this
the original sidestand did have problems ie the welding was not up to scratch & the tubing used was not as ordered.

All those that had problems with their sidestands were given a newer stronger improved sidestand as replacement or their money back.

NO-ONE HAS HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE 2ND VERSION..

The 3rd version is thinner & stronger.I've also taken account of feedback asking for the tang to be repositioned to make it easier to operate the stand when retracting it.

Anyone that is not happy with the stand for a genuine reason will be offered the same customer service.

TANTRUM It's easy to comment on something without knowing the facts mate...lets keep it civilised & in the spirit of the forums purpose.

Rich was just making a point about your sales technique - and using the weaknesses of your earlier product as a selling point for your new one was probably not the best way to do it. I would certainly think twice about buying from you again.

I admit I was happy with the sidestand when I fitted it and now your comments have left a doubt in my mind about whether the stand is strong enough or not and how do I know which version I have :dunno.

OK that's a fair comment....I think !!!

The version I sold you was the best so far but as with all products one tries to improve all the time which is why version 3 is better ...a natural evolution..all manufacturers do this otherwise their products would lag behind.

Do you write to the manufacturers of a new car you'd bought a few months ago & throw ya toys out of the pram because they've brought out a better version ???

I have never used the weaknesses of a product to sell another it's bad practise & very unprofessional.

If you'd sent me a private message instead of doin' THIS we would've sorted it by now !!!

I bought one of the version 2 stands I think?
No problems so far and great service from Gary too.

Fairy`s best ever washing up liquid has just improved. Does that mean the last one was *****? Probably not.:dunno
That said, I`ll keep an eye on welds for peice of mind, just after Ive checked everything else that people say is faulty with RSV`s, swingarm, Dunlops, link bolts etc etc.:pirate
