hi all. recently got a 2003 rsv and i love it. had some experience of twins before, ridden my father in laws tl1000s a few times, ridden my mates 07 tuono and i have owned a buell x1 lightening (awesome handling once i replaced the crappy standard shock but probably the most under powered bike ever built).
the tl is a great bike but the rsv makes it feel like something from the stone age. possibly the best front brakes ive used though the rear is just there for its decorative qualities i think.
i got the bike with wavey discs all round, carbon wind deflectors, carbon front guard and hugger, digi gear indicator, ohlins stearing damper, pazzo racing levers and a titanium acropovic can and a load of standard stuff.
its a bit thirsty on fuel tho, but at least it isnt as bad as the gsx 1400 i had before it.

any advice would be great.

Andy

Good evening and welcome andy :thumbup post some pics and welcome to the zone :thumbup

im from gods own country, thats south wales for all you heathens. great place to ride, if you stay out of the city centres there are virtually no speed cameras. in fact there is only one in the town where i live.
not all good news though. one of my mates sent me this link yesterday:-

And you have THAT Chief Constable!! I've always thought Wales sounded like a bike nightmare with all the press about that bloke, nice to know it's not.

wales is a big place with not a lot of people in it. as long as you stay away from "that chief constables" neck of the woods you should be ok. i am still amazed every time i cross the bridge that anyone rides bikes at all with all those cameras you lot have to put up with. the guy i got the rsv off is from gloucester and he comes over here riding. the run from abergavenny to llandovery is a good one if you get it on a quiet day. check it out on google maps.
