New Chain reqiured!

Im running 520 15/44 on a 2005 RSVR. Love the power delivery of this and want to keep it the same. The sprockets are in good order but the chain has seem better days and need replacing.

Im after a cheap good 520 chain for the bike. WHen the sprockets need replacing, Im going back to 525 so hense the cheap

Any suggestions?

I have got a 520 that has done about 500 mile yours for ￡50 delivered.

i would fit full kit mate rather than a new chain on 2 old sproks even if they do look ok cheers bud

Hi m8 , i fitted a tsubaki jobby wi talon srockets the same gearing as yourself ,it was a local guy to me that fitted the chain for £60,hey you could always use that as an excuse to come to Stirling:devious:thumbup:biggrin,mind it might end up costing a bit more eh???

Alright Garvey,

Yes the chain will have a new soft link with it, or I can do you a new Renthal chain and sprocket kit for £140 delivered.

Cheers Mark, bigger problem now!

Just cleaned the chain and adjusted it. seemed ok at the time. My son had a sleep over last night and today off to the local country park. cark full so followed on the bike, pulled away from a round about and snap! chain snapped on the pin. just got in from being delivered by the AA.

Problem now is the wife is back to work Tuesday and needs the car and I need the bike to go to work. so now I have tomorrow to source either 520 108 link chain or a news 525 setup wioth sprockets. all to be in my hands tomorrow so the shop can fit it as I dont have the chain tool. it goes bad to worse in such a short time

I would have one off you Mark but as you can see, im a little far away and need it tomorrow.
