New boots

Afternoon all
I've been running metzler M5s for the last few years with no complaints but fancy a change as I now only ride for fun no more commuting in **** weather. I've thought about super corsas or racetecs as I don't ride in the rain anyone fitted either?

Amazing tyre...full on sports jobbie...and still good for four and a half thousand miles....

Not given them any thought, I don't think there is such a thing as a bad tyre anymore ( Dunlop qualifiers) they have all upped their game. Probably see what's on the best deal, one things for sure though 90degree valves are going on I'm so fed up trying to inflate them at service stations!!!!!

I run Metz/ pirellis ,usually in racetek or super corsa flavour on all my bikes , brilliant tyres wet or dry and £60 fitted a pair from

My local racer
My Mille has a battlax (05 I think ) on the rear and a super corsa rosso on the front as that's what wes on it when I got it
No real complaints , but it will get a pair of scrubs on th when it needs them

I fitted 2ct pilot sports to my superduke a couple of years ago ,and hated them from the off , too triangular a profile and bloody lethal in the wet , they also only lasted about 2500 miles ,mostly commuting at that , add to that the initial cost of £220 fitted
That's nearly 4 sets of part worns and I generally get a couple of tho fron a set , you see my liking for cheap sticky tyres

Not sure about scrubs but racetecs are probably my no1 choice as I like the m5s so much

Dunlop raodsmarts on the falco for commutting the last 20000 miles just on the third set the first edition was better than the second but the second had no rolling resistance whatsoever it was super light feeling but I preferred the earler one for all round riding, beat sthe Michelins in the wet so the next tyr up from those must be outstanding
