The time has come for some new black rings for the beastie. Currently running Bridgestone BT014 and more than chuffed except they are now mullered after 1500 mile :thumbup. Have tried most of main brands in my time and love the bridgestone. France trip at end of month means approx 1500 miles so have been contemplating new Bridgestone BT021 dual compound. I have always had soft tyres, pilot sports, super corsas, 014, so am unsure of swopping over. Any ideas about 021? anyone trying them?

:roost:roost:roost , just found all the smilies:whoop:banghead:bash:sucks
now am just being :supergay.
back to work.

Ive got 2ct's on at the mo and loving them especially as ive done around 3000 miles on them at the mo and at a guess theres about 1000 left

Metzeler sportec M3's 3000 miles and still going strong fantastic tyre

I'd echo the comments re 2ct's. Excellent grippy tyre, dual compound like the 021, and they seem to be holding up well after 2000 miles.

Thanks for that Sharky, always liked Metzlers, i'll make a note to the wise :)

thanks guys so 2ct and Metzeler sportec M3's, any recommendations of distributor, 3000 miles sounds like heaven. Definitely better on the wallet.

the metzlers are fantastic,
i currently have bt 014's on to mate, and i love em,very confidence inspiring,
and feel the same in the wet as most tyres do in the dry.
reading BIKE magazine with the 1000cc sports tyres test, pirelli diablo rosso come out on top with 5*'s,metzeler sportec m3,dunflop qualifier d209,continental contisport attacks and bt016 all got 4*'s,pilot power 2ct and avon viper sport got 3*'s and maxxis supermaxx got 2*'s.
but they were tested on track on an 08 blade, mostly for dry grip alone.
iv always like bridgestones, theyve never let me down since the old bt010!

but ill be buying race scrubs next,as i get em cheap,so probably be either pirellis or metzlers top tyre.

Michelin pilot sport HPX cant fault em one bit, 1500 mile so far still look like new...:thumbup

Mind you doin a track day next week so watch this space they might be a pile of crap after that...:rant

My last 2CT rear lasted just under 3000 miles but I love them. They give so much confidence. Pretty happy with them when I've been caught out in the rain as well so sticking with these.
