Having had two Mille R twins in the last ten years, Its an interesting change. Imported the Tuono V4 APRC (we no longer have an Aprilia dealer in Southern Ireland).....
Absolutely delighted with it! Very very quick and I haven't revved it past a mere 7000; it redlines at 15000! Should be some soundtrack to that. Very involving experience overall and I ordered it sight unseen. Thought it looked a bit ugly in the photos but now its in front of me it looks way better than expected.....the Mrs thinks its the sexiest looking bike I ve had in a while.
Bars felt a bit low at first - fixed by rotating them ever so slightly and dropped the forks one more notch in the triple clamps. The stock pipe"s so nice I"ll probably leave it.
Suspension iis the next thing I"ve got to look at it's ROCK hard on the bumpy Irish back roads....may free up with a few more miles but its definitely not as plush and planted as the Ohlins on my last Mille R. Though I"m probably spoilt from my KTM supermoto which just soaked it all up!
The only other complaint is there"s no where to stash anything at all....under the seat would barely take a credit card. In the Mille I had waterproof trousers, gloves and even a jacket, so you've a beautiful looking bike with a bag of ***** strapped onto the back seat.
Be nice if Aprilia made a hollow small bump stop in place of the rear passenger pad as I don't ever take passengers.
