I never really paid too much attention to RC8's until recently, when my mate turned up out of the blue at my front door on one. He'd just part ex'd his KTM 950SM for it. That set a spark for me; I really like them now and apart from the full frontal view, I think they are a damn good looking bike.
BUT...
When I rode it, oh my god! Even though fully adjusted to the least radical settings it's soooo uncomfortable! And it handled like it was hinged in the middle, although obviously this was just down to bad suspension settings (for me anyway). The absolute worst thing though was the snatchy throttle - literally like an on/off switch, with no finesse whatsoever. Apparently they're all like that, sir.
Superb brakes, and fast as f*ck though...
