nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I don't want a nice new shiny V4 with the factory graphics, honest I like twins (especially sexy ones), I don't want a V4, I don't want a V4

See your point ,,who wouldn't like a nice pair of twins :banana

:thumbupJust put $s down on 2016 tuono 1100 factory. It's gonna be tough to wait until mid yr but really looking forward to getting it.

As I've said before Aprilia need to engineer a tad more longevity & reliability into there bike's, Stator probs, hot start issues, coolant manifold issues, valve clearance issues etc, before I'd even consider a new 1100, don't get me wrong we all have to pay the price for performance ( Which is less reliability ) but in this day and age we should be able to expect both....By the way I still love my V4.

This will be my first Aprilia so will see on reliability. Have been thru almost all other brands--jap bikes, Ducati, Guzzi, mv agusta, Harley , KTM , Maico, Husky, BMW, etc. All had strong and weak points but it seemed the BMW ,which had a positive reputation, visited the dealer a lot. The 1100 Aprilia base V4 engine has been around for a number of yrs so hope they have worked out most of those issues you mentioned. Looking forward to finding out.

If honda or such made this bike I wouldn't hesitate all the jap bikes I have had and still have have been faultless :thumbup

Agreed, I myself have had 3 Speedtriples T509, 955, & 1050 all have been absolutely faultless, never had 1 problem with any of them...Just hope my V4 will do them justice.

Blade I agree I have had many many Jap bikes over the years and have been very reliable
and why would I wants to pay £14,000 for the Aprila v4 when I have a Honda VFR800 :lol :lol

Well if yer happy with honda why would yer buy a aprilia, but you cannot compare the two,The performance of a tuono v4 is far far beyond yer honda vfr.Between my youth and l we have 6 v twins and 1 v4 and had no problems with any, and all have been risen hard.

Sorry I was only joking :laugh
PS I haven't ridden the T yet but as i have had 7 v twins so should be OK :thumbup if not will just sell it and keep my vfr :lol

Mind if I was doing a long touring trip I think the VFR might be a slighty better choice :crazy

Recently sold my 13 MY Tuono V4. I sold it after covering 5000 hard miles including several track days never had a single problem with it. I have my V4 1100 Factory arriving in April so will have lots of goodies off my old bike for sale soon.

Getting something that's just a little better than something that's already fantastic was an easy choice!:crazy Rob
