Hi all, I have decided to put my Nera up for sale in order to make room for a new toy.
I haven't owned it for very long and feel that someone might appreciate it more than I will.
The bike is number 105/200. It has been garaged for the past 3 years and is in absolutely mint condition throughout. The bike had a big bore kit fitted to it at around 4.5k miles and had the engine refreshed at this time also. There is currently 850miles done since this. I have loads of paperwork and all of the receipts with the bike to show that no expense has been spared on the upkeep and improvement of this dream series Aprilia.
As most of you know the Nera is one of the rarest Aprilia bikes made. Bodywork made entirely of carbon fibre, including the fuel tank, v60' Magnesium engine with magnesium head, higher compression pistons and internal molybdenum disulphide treatments for reduced friction, magnesium clutch covers and titanium for the screws and bolts.
This was also the first production bike to ever be fitted with magnesium wheels making than 2kg lighter than the Rsv1000 R Factory's aluminium wheels. finished in a lovely luminous red they really set the carbon fibre body off nicely.
Full titanium racing system gives the bike a most attractive sound. Ohlins racing suspension front and rear, front forks are titanium nitrate coated, Ohlins steering damper.
Bike has been dyno'd at 147 hp. Comes with brembro racing levers and brembro master cylinders.
As I said before, this bike is showroom condition and i'm sure anyone whose like something away from the ordinary will fall in love with this rare piece of Aprilia magic. This bike cost £25k new.
I am asking £8950 ono, the bike is currently in Donegal, Ireland.
