Need to bypass my immobiliser

I have had problems with my bike not starting and then when it does eventually start it won't turn off. I put another post on here a while back to try and find some help on the issue. No joy. Please read my other post to get an idea of how stressed I'm getting with now. Anyway.............

Had bike into aprilia dealer in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. He said the problem was the ECU so I bought a second hand one and dropped it off . He phoned me the next day after fitting it and said it was not the ecu, it is he immobiliser unit and it needs a new one. It is quite expensive and I don't want to spend any more money on it especially after buying a second ecu.
I know people know how to bypass the immobiliser but keep it hush hush as not to let the info get into the wrong hands. I fully understand this so please don't start a lecture on the fact.
Can anyone PM me on how you can do this......... Please. Bike has been off the road a year now and really want to get back on it! Any help much appreciated!

Please PM me as well, I would also want to bypass my immobiliser if possible, it's simply draining too much battery, not worth to have it since I have other methods to "Secure my bike"

I had this done at a dealer yesterday. Not exactly sure of the process and as you said I wouldn't reveal it anyway but was very simple -cost me £20. Can't your dealer do it?

Really?! My dealer said it can't be done. Anyway it's in the shop as we speak getting a new one fitted as this was the cause of all the problems. At first they said it was the ecu so I bought a second hand one but the same problems still existed so they narrowed it down to the immobiliser.
£200 us labour for a new one anyway. Sick of waiting around trying to find out information off people who know who won't pass on the info incase it gets out and into the wrong hands. Daft if you ask me but hey!

Maybe our bikes are different? Mine is an 08 R (not factory). I saw what the guy did and although I couldn't tell you exactly what parts were involved (deliberately non specific here) I could check for you if yours is the same. You could do it in 5 minutes. No skill required. Fingers crossed for you! Oh, I have only had my bike for 2 weeks so couldn't have helped earlier and as I said, had this done on Saturday.
