Went out for a blast on saturday and picked up a puncture :angry gutted!!
RAC came out very quickly to fix the problem and temp plugged my tyre, since then i have called a few places to get the temp plug removed and a propper plug fitted. (puncture was right in middle of wheel on a fairly unused tyre)
allot of places say the hole made by RAC is too big for the new long lasting plug to fit into, but this cannot be confirmed untill the wheel is removed from the tyre though.
Worst case is i have to get a new tire.
on the front i have a Dunlop 207rr
on the back was a Dunlop 207rr
after speaking to my local shop we worked out that it would prob be best to put a standard Dunlop 208 (180/55) on the back as this is clostest to the 207rr and if anything i would want a slightly more grippy tyre on the front,
do people think this is a good combination?
