just thought id share a picture of the 250 im building for my track bike!!

i feel so giddy when i look at it...im like a kid again!!:doug


the wheels will be white ive just borrowed these from Zed and were off for decals next week!!

nearly ready!!

Griff, the RS 250 is now a classic M8 :inlove as you well know and that looks a good tidy example, keep us posted dude and lets see the finished article.

You lucky sod. I'd trade my mille for one of them! Tis true. That's the bloody bike that got me into this damn lark, I was about 12 or 13 and the local bike shop had a reggianni rs250 in the window....hmmm.....I managed to get meself a 125, but never had the 250. yet. Good luck with it griff

Looks good.
This is the best version, supposed to make 70hp since its without a catalyzer.

I would get one if the maintanance cost wouldnt be so high.
 
Awesome bike !! Bloody fast with the right rider on !! Will upset alot of sports bike on the track !!
 
Looks very good chap,what have you done tuning wise?. have done a few things to my rs lately and i would up a pic but i do not want to hyjack your thread.

Actually only bought my bike because I thought it was a RS250 at first glance.It was parked at roadside with a for-sale sign on it,only when I got nearer saw it wasn`t, but by then I was sold on it.Keep us informed with your progress,

I'd love an RS250 but so afraid of it going 'pop'.

A friend of mine used to race one in the EMRA Road Stocks and it blew up about 3 times.
Biggest mistake he made was trying to run it with the standard oil pump rather than premix, but he didn't want to modify it.

Really the RS250 is the opposite of the Mille; light, nimble, peaky- with no low down power or midrange.
But it feels so right!!!!

I'd swap my bike for one too...
..if only I could afford the rebuilds.

Spent a small furtune on the engine but it just sounds and feels so right,can`t beat the smell of motul 600t in the morning.

Castrol TTs for me in my RD's but the RGV was run on Putoline TTX

The RS250 is the ONLY bike I realistically dream of owning :inlove

You taking it to the trackday in April, or are you not actually going on track?
