Mayo and waffle country a.k.a. Belgium
Hi lads and lasses,
After encountering the frustrating problem that it is far from easy to find a high quality one-piece racing suit for women, my adventurous Quest for the Suit came to an unexpected end on Saturday!
As some of you know I was (and still am) a big fan of Arlen Ness suits, and I wanted their new ladies' suit pretty badly.
Unfortunately they are not available in Belgium, and my trip to Germany ended up being very disappointing, as the shop didn't have the suit after all..
So my other option was modifying a man's suit, which I'd rather not do because all that cutting and pasting is always a compromise.
Luckily I have a brilliant other half who by chance saw an ad for the new Dainese suit for women on Friday.. :devious
So Saturday we went to the Dainese shop, and lo and behold.. There was this gorgeous black suit... 'Made in Italy' -which is quite rare these days- and of great quality, the leather feels very light yet tough.
The moment I put my leg in, I knew this could get VERY interesting.. And so it was !! It fits perfectly, only the legs need to be extended a bit, but that's it !!
We were both baffled that this suit was finally IT.. I went home with a gigantic grin on my face and wore the suit the whole weekend to break it in :laugh
So of course I want to share my new pride and joy with you guys !! :laugh
Sorry for the blurry pics.. I took them just now and the camera isn't very sensitive in low light situations.
I also want to say a big thank you to cwalker for helping me with my quest, cheers buddy !!
:cheers
the "other side" is nice and tight too, :fire NO soggy bottom this time round !! :banana (and yes, it has a mini speed hump too)
A bit of detail
Pfew, it's getting hot in here, I should take something off
Naaah, who am I kidding, I'll always be a shy gal.. :nana
Some random pics my bf took when I rode with the suit on, a couple hours after I bought it.
Well, that's all folks! Hope you enjoyed them
