Hi, I hope you can help but i have purchased a 2004 RSVR last week and have had a couple of hairy moments. It has happened when i have been slowing and changing down gears when the engine stalls and everything locks up on me. It may be that my riding style is not brilliant as i am not the most confident, but i have been riding a V Twin Suzuki SV100o prior to this with no issues.. Any advice would be appreciated.. Many Thanks...:dunno

Mine spat me off 2 hours after buying it. £270 damage. It only happens when it is warming up...I now know to dip the cluch and hit the starter. Good thing is you get a warning as the engine noise changes.

It's not you mate something isn't quite right, sounds like it needs some TLC.

Don't know where you are in the world but if you're anywhere near the Midlands (UK) then Griff (AKA Fusebox on the forum) is your man.

If it's otherwise fine then you either have an old map in the ecu or tb's need setting up.

Redlight - i have a Gas analyser and i'm North Devon if you want yours checked at some point or wait till Griff comes down again.

Tlc..

Thanks for the reply chaps....

Amb, I am not far from the Midlands as i am in Manchester.

Mucho Gracias...
