looking good mate, especially the screen sticker :devious. But don't kid yourself, these things are never finished.:nana

That's cool, I've got the same colour and love the wheel stickers you've got, did you get them off eBay? If so can you send a link for them :)

I know, rearsets next although I am still swaying towards the AP ones over the TRW. Wish I had bought yours when they were up for grabs.

Thought the least I could do was display a couple of stickers seen as youve provided a first class service ;)

Now I've got my PCIII I may need a balance and tune if its reasonable.

Looking good. Can you post details on how you went about fitting the Gen 2 mirrors?. I've got a set here that I've not got around to fitting as yet due to lack of time. How long did it take you and what method did you use?. Ta!!!.

Excellent, look forward to hearing how you went about this as there seem to be a couple of different ways to achieve the end result.

Ta.

Is that the rear light with built in indicators? If so, where did you get it and was it easy to fit/wire up with restrictors etc?

Yes it's the one with integrated indicators.

Straight forward to wire up and I had already changed the flasher unit because I had led indicators.

Well, I had a bash at fitting the Gen 2 mirrors this afternoon. Offered them up to the fairing and marked the position of the new holes to be drilled as accurately as I could and then drilled through the plastic first, allowing the drill to mark and slightly pilot the alloy of the fairing stay underneath. Then whipped off the top fairing and began trying to drill the new holes. I say "trying" because my drill bits are either made of chocolate or the alloy that Aprilia uses for the fairing stays is industrial strength that Superman would have trouble bending!!!. Off out tomorrow to buy a new set of drill bits and have another crack at it.

a15cro - If you haven't had time to post up another thread about how you went about adding the Gen 2 mirrors ( not being a pest, sorry!! ) could you give me a brief rundown on what you did, where you drilled the holes etc?. As I said, I marked mine approximately by just holding the new mirrors up on the fairing and trying to see how they would sit. My holes both ended up inboard of the existing holes for the two Allen headed bolts which hold the fairing on, I've marked them on the picture below :-

Typing this on my phone so excuse any typos

I had the top hole filled and painted however on reflection I would fill the bottom one instead.

The alloy is soft enough to drill out so it must be your bits!!

I enlarged the holes so the new mirrors would bolt on. Look at the thickness of the alloy because it's thinner at the top. You should be able to work out the position of the nuts below.

I will try and get a couple of photos.

Cheers. So you had the top hole filled, does that mean you only used one bolt to secure the mirror?.
