my little side stand mod

I know it been talked about before but hey

Had GSXR 1000 k2 stand just sat in the garage so had a bit of a look about fitting it it was a piece of piss and I am well chuffed and all it cost me was about 40 mins :doug

just hope my weldings up to the job

the bike is so much more stable now :doug

Looks much better than than the Italian effort. So do these things fall over then on the standard stand (see what I did there?).

the previous of mine dropped it off the side stand so yeah it seems to be a bit problem, oh and the bikes in the US have a different stand:dunno

its always felt a bit light on the stand to me, you can lift the rear of the bike very easily when it was on the original stand, but not any more:biggrin

Welded the U bracket from stock stand to a ZX9r stand....superb now and looks really good

any pics matey would be good to see if it looks any better and also could make a list of whats stand works etc

tucks up better than the GSXR mod stand.....cbr 1000 07 stand fits straight on i think

Aprilia U part welded on a ZX9R stand...spring lug had to be welded on to

my little side stand mod
