Alright lads ok im starting to get a bit worried with my bike now :confused some of you may remember me mentioning about my heating issues as in getting really hot really quick, ive now discovered the problem with that and also i now know how my cooling system works with in reason :thumbup the problem to start with was my rads werent getting hot even though the bike was, this was all down to lots of air pockets in the system from fitting a new right side rad, after a good draining and a refill with water its all tickty boo,
Right now this is where it gets messy, Quick refresh
Bike cooling system is drained of Air and filled with water
OK right the problem, After sorting out the above i fired the bike up the rads were getting warm :doug all was good but then looked down to the floor and sweet mary mother of god theres water checked all over the bike to see where it was coming from! I sourced back to above the right Rad where there is 3 way splitter with those ****** little clips to hold the pipes on (need pliers to bend them)
Turned the bike back off, took the filler neck cap off and pysically blew down the neck and there is definatly a week clampon the pipe, keeping an eye on it i started her back up and as it got hotter and the system got more presurised the more leeks i could find,
Just wondering if any body has any idea on common faults with the cooling system and does anybody have any further suggestions to replace the ****** clips tried a jubilee but i never had one smaller enough
