Fair E Nuff. I will give it a try.. Off to the Garage to find the little bugger now then.

Ok guys....i have a 2000 mille with sp titanium full exhaust, derestricted airbox, Sp titanium chip. WHat else can i affordably do to make my bike better?

Power Commander or Rapid Bike 3? Is the Sp chip just to change the fueling for the exhaust system? I think mine is just set on mode 2 with the Acro cans. Dont think it has a chip.

There are engine mods you can do I guess but then its moving away from bolt ons that can be put back to standard..

PC3 will allow you to re-map the fueling so that you are running your desired fuel/air ration throughout the rev range. You can add a quick shifter and ignition advance unit but it will cost ya!!

The RB3 does the same thing but you can change the ignition timing with the unti and add a quick shifter. It is modular so you buy the unit and then just need the wiring.

I have been looking into both but haven't decided yet.

The Ignition Module is not available and is not going to, I have tried for 6months but DynoJet only lists them they never made one. If you want both ignition and fueling buy the RB3. If not go with PCIIIusb.

Goods Results???????? Do you like the difference?

So I have to ask a question. My last bike (ZX6-R sorry everyone) I had a PC3 on. Now I have had 3 conversations with 3 dealers. One in Chelmsford in Essex told me to have them re-program the chip on my bike (01/02 RSV-R) as that's the best thing to do. Southern Cross said not to bother, to put it on a Dyno if I want to know but all that is worth doing is having them balance the cylinders and the last (I forget who) told me to get a PC3. By the way the other two mentioned dealers told me a PC3 is a waste of time. My bike is pretty standard, Giannelli twin cans, Renegade air box and lots of weight saving carbon. Anyone got an idea on which of the 3 a right. :O
Although I have to point out, the best performance enhancement I can think of is to go on a ******* diet!! Lose 10 kg off your gut and it would make a hell of a difference. :thumbup

Don at Southern Cross knws his stuff. He raced in the Supertwinsand is the sound of thunder champion. His race bike will be one of the fastest Milles about and if he says not to bother with a PC3 I wouldn't. You might get some improvements but I think for the money thats why its not worth doing.

My race bike had a PC3 but a standard exhaust. I fitted a set of Micron headers and took it to get re-mapped. It got another 6bhp just by changing the fueling! I guess it depends on the bike.

Froggie my boy, get a S/h PC111 and a custom map, than we'll see whos the fastest!!!. Dont bother with the chip.

I wonder if anyone has run that?! I think i would fall off the back every time I pulled away?!

in our workshop, we've seen plenty of bad stuff( from small to major problems... major as in 2 f*cked engines because someone had been playing with the ignition module rb..) on rsv's which had rapid bike modules installed.

we've always refused to install them and always will. no problems with the pc3's..
