Have a gixxer k7 thou bought in so called good times.Unemployed over 4 years now. To cut a long story short. Got a rebate of dosh. Was always looking at BST carbon wheels and quickshifter for gixxer as is an animal. How much Fcuken el. Bought an 03 rsv mille. Smile, laugh, and smile. What a Bike Can't get used to the soundtrack just want more and more.

Money well spent.

P.S. Is it true that a lot of tyre fitters will not touch carbon fibre wheels.

Think it's fair to say that carbon fibre wheels aren't really recommended for the road. Billiard smooth racetrack yes, pot holed uk naaa.

Im not a fan of Carbon fibre and Ive had a fair bit to do with it's use in many forms. It is far stronger I agree but, it will suffer degradation at a greater level than alloys and it uv is not its friend. So for an everyday bike you have to consider, sun, cold, water ingress and if they do let go they go big. Its also worth a mention that carbon is fooking sharp if it cracks which is another reason I wouldn't fit panels on my bike. Each to their own of course, I seen a rotor blade with a 6in chunk torn out of it still fly lol.

I hope it helps but its really your choice. One other thing that you could think about is, if carbon wheels are so great why don't manufacturers fit them. I understand there is the cost but top drawer exotics don't even have them on road bikes or cars.
