model diffrences?

OH and less of the shame it is in blue PLZ !!! :thumbup

Sorry I offended you in any way, I wasn't saying 'Shame' about the colour just about the rip off insurance (don't get me started on those stitch up mofos). A mille is a mille whichever model or colour you've got they are all fooking great bikes.:thumbup:biggrin

Now I suppose your gonna tell me you work for Norwich Union:biggrin

Or YELLOW:thumbup
i LOVE the yellow ones, was the bike the got me into bikes when i was 10ish ever since then i've always wanted to own one :(

They had a lovely yellow RSVR at Moto Forza on saturday i honestly could have shot a load...one day!

bargains can be had Rene - my 2001 (mk2) was only £2200 with less than 6k miles on the clock ;)

happy hunting - and im glad you are still thinking of the Mille - i thought you were wobbling on the idea lol.

Oh and to answer an earlier comment, my standard 01 mille has a plastic tank and matt finish.

lol Tom i am wobbling, and i know that im going to buy it and pour money into it none stop like everything else Italian but i cant help but still want one...Still drifting towards a TL...Might also give my insurance a call and see how much theyd want for SP1, cant get away from the fact that Jap is better for all year round..

But then the RSV's are so f'in cheap and look the dogs nagers! Still think you should sell yours to me, will give you what you brought it for :D

I picked up my 52 plate RSV with 2 owners, 10,000 miles on the clock, good all round condition and full service history for £2500; although i did buy out of peak season so the prices will be coming up now.

I had a TL1000R before the mille. Fantastic road bike no matter what anyone says planted on the road and cheap to insure but the mille is mucher lighter and sharper.

Never owned an Sp1. Like the look of them but insurance is high and from what people say there a bit focussed for everyday use.

Keep looking for a mille there a good bike for the money. I paid £2100 for my2001 model.

Only had it a few months so maybe its a bit early to say but my feeling at the moment is I wouldn't like to rely on it as every day transport........

Have I just added more confusion?

i do like a good handeling bike (power isnt on my list of musts, anything with about 70 odd bhp and is going to be reliable is good for me!). Aparently if you ditch that stuipedly mounted shock then it actually makes a very nice handeling bike so really it deepend on witch on comes up for sale at the right price first really.

I am swinging towards the TL though, cheaper insurance and Jap reliablity, cant argue really!

Looking for the TLR mate!

SP insurance is masive, about the same price as a RSVR though. TL is the cheapest of all of them at about £300. SP is about 1k lol.

Guess its because it you crash a TL then your dead son! what with the nick name widow maker and all :D

1K  jeez i guess you must only be a pup then :eatcorn id keep looking m8 and when you find a decent rsv at the price you want to pay then you can sling the rest towards your insurance :thumbup

im 20 mate so insurance is still a bugger for me!

Oh i see now why its so expensive , think mine was £170 full comp protected but thats cos im an old git :laugh not much you can do then about that so whats it going to be rene ... which bike you going for :dunno:eatcorn

Rene, have you tried H&R Insurance services for a quote? Give them a call rather than online

See advert to the left of the main board.

I've tried most of them but untill i've decided on a bike then im just going on average price of insurance!

Chosing a bike is oh so hard, next bike could be a gsxr750, RSV,TL,636, CB500...All kinds of diffrent things!

Just impossible to find a bike that dos everything i want in one (ie, good on fuel and can commute one, weekend fun, ride long distance, track days ect) really needs to be jack of all trades! Thus why the big twins are at the top of my list, loads of easly aviable power so not up and down the gears on the motorway, average on fule, fun when you want them to be and cheap to buy!

Im sure i'll be happy with what ever i end up with its just makeing the final descsion really!
