Mini indicators - a little help needed

Bought 2 sets of Motrax mini indicators to fit (not LED one's). I've quickly wired up one of the rears just to check they worked ok but when turning on the indicators the flashing was irregular on both front and back. Do I need to fit both rears or both front and rear on the same side to rectify this or do I need to change the relay?:dunno

You need to check what wattage the bulbs are as anything less than or more than the standard rating will cause irregular flashing.

Grab a wideband flasher (No NOT Gasboy on a Friday night !!)from ebay and then it wont matter, should cost around a tenner, or you could get an all electronic one for about £20

alternative - use a load resistor and 2 diodes - pretty simple to do - job done

correct flash rate

They should be fine, are you sure they arent LED??

Original bulbs are 10w motrax indicator bulbs are 21w, Buy some motrax 10w indicator bulbs, around 5 quid for a pair jobs a good 'un!!! That's what i did anyway!!

usually tho indicators flash faster when the watts / amperage is lower than required ie if you front n/s indiacator goes in the car they flash fast

Replace the flasher unit it sits on a rubber mount under the speedo.Thats what i did,bit tight in there tho.
