Always pissin down with rain Sussex
Me back is knackered & my wrists hurt so I thought I would give this a go :dowhat
I have seen some of the comfort kit conversions & don't much like the look of them so I thought maybe I can make a better job of it :thumbup
I have not damaged any of the original parts so it can be put back to standard, this is a list of the parts I had to buy.

Renthal fatbars £50.00
Top yoke £45.00
Fatbar risers welded onto the top yoke by NK racing £80.00
Clutch & brake lines from Venhill £97.00
Top fairing £65.00
Screen £30.00
RSVR fairing decal set from Image Works £45.00
Renthal bar end weights £18.00
Paint & laquer £14.00

Total cost £444.00

Once I got my top yoke back from NK racing & fitted it temporarily I could work out how much to cut off the new fairing, it meant cutting almost back to the mirror mounting brackets & I still couldn't quite get full lock. :angry

So this was my solution, I cut the mounting lugs off an old R6 foot rest hanger & made them egg shaped to reduce the lock a little :biggrin

Now that was sorted the fairing was sprayed & laquered

I needed a longer clutch & brake line so I got the ones you assemble yourself from Venhill :thumbup that way theres no cockups with the banjo's being in the wrong orientation as I've had before with Hell lines :roll

To be continued :biggrin

 looked at the link, not good. But I am retaining the whole fairing so it's no stronger or weeker than before, all I have done is cut off the bits of the top fairing which protrude past the mirror mounts :thumbup

think yours will be fine structurally as it has the bottom fairing in place so well supported

ill probably do this but usually go down the comfort kit route with my bikes as i do suffer with neck pain but like the sport bike style.

ive used these on my blackbird zx12r and i used the helibars on my busa with good results.

i like this firm as all parts are included so its a few hrs to get it all on and adjusted so saves some aggro.

Nice, their kits are expensive though especially if you want fat bars & I've heard alot of people have clearance problems.

Mines finished now apart from the Tuono reservoir brackets I'm still waiting for, will post up the photo's when done.

Wow actually dont look bad nick :thumbup . I dont usually like sport bike conversions, but the millie pulls it off. Everytime I see your bike makes me consider laquering mine...

Cheers guys :thumbup just looked at the Mito mirrors & they are short stem so I may give the RS125 ones a go.

Know what you mean Steve, I don't usually like sports bike conversions either but I think this looks pretty good IMHO and alot cheaper than the alternative, my bike plus another 3.5K for a factory Tuono. Even if I get fed up with it I can put mine back to standard & sell the conversion kit I made up :biggrin

looking good there, the Falco mirrors are longer as I have em on my rsv conversion (1st gen) but for some reason I think they'll fit yours as well. I have a carbon tuono fairing ready to fit with a tuono fairing bracket but after putting it on I reckon the look is much better with the cut down full fairing, by the way what is the blue bike in the backround?

Cheers, will look out for some Falco ones.

The bike in the background is my RD350 Hybrid I built from parts

Neither :biggrin They were designed & built by a guy on the RD forum to work with a Mick Abbey fast road tune, this guy amazing he designs them on a computer, prints out all the pieces on paper templates then rolls & tig welds them together then I had them nickle plated
