Mileage Loss.

CrockRSV

Having been using this forum site for a few months now, I have seen a few of you have lost your mileage on the clocks when disconnecting the battery. I am using an Oximiser at the moment now the weather has cooled down a bit, using the crocodile clips provided. My bike started no probs at 5 o'clock this morning. Am I guaranteed to lose the clock info if I disconnect the battery and use the permanant connections to the charger or should I just use the crocodile clips ?:dowhat

Crock, I fitted the permanent connections to my battery and managed to do it without breaking the circuit, just keep the neg or pos lead pressed down when you remove the bolt to fit the ring terminal.
