Mileage concern!!

Well the way I figure it, there is alot of Aprilias out there in this paint/stciker scheme. I'm a fan of Italian bikes and cars, as an alfa owner too, so I'm thinking lets go Italian...shiny and beautiful, after all it is a pretty bike. Soooo maybe A candy apple red, with white and black markings...little along the ducati route but not, if you know what I mean...

Nice...do you do a lot of bikes? What price would a Mille cost to spray?

Yeah done a few over my time....just been word of mouth. I have a facebook page for the spraying, bit new at the moment to the facebook world so obviously updating as I go along now..

As for price it really depends on condition of plastic, stickers and what is wanted doing. Candy colours are the more expensive option with regards to materials. I guess for a ball park I did a Suzuki TL1000 in blackmagic pearl for £150 including materials. So I'd say around the £150-£200 depending on materials used and condition of plastics, ie any repairs needed etc..

Think I'll be in touch a little later in the year got a full spare body kit and fancy something different from the current yellow..but want to keep the original bodywork

Ah yes, me'cafe racer project, its still in the build/mock up stage....To be honest I've kinda spent me money on this rsvr now as I wanted something, well, I wanted an Rsvr. Its changed my ideas a little on the cafe racer now...still doing it, will be a bit slower paced as i'll be out riding the aprilia hahaha..

Initially I was really looking to improve the handling on the cb, but now I have the aprilia I think I'm going to go for the more beach cruiser...which helps living in Brighton...its kinda the home of cafe racers down here.

Where you based then redrat? As for further to painting costs....I think if were a forum member I'd be a little more friendly on cost haha..and if anyone ever wanted the deeeeeeeeepst black, I did a solid black paint job coated with candy deep black and then wet look lacquer ontop....never have I seen black that looked bottomless before or since..

I'm based in kent?..not a million miles away....

Yeah I have a long term flat tracker project just a little hammy xs 250/400 but its more just a collection of parts than a bike ha ha
