I need to replace my rear Metezeller rennsport tyre but cannot get them anymore. I have a rennsport on the front which has loads of tread left on it and I dont want to bin it. Thinking of putting a Metezeller Sportec M3 on the back, would this cause any problems, ? :thumbup

its a personal thing I do run mixed tyres while changing from one type to another never had any issues but always try to ride on matched tyres ,some people never mix tyres for insurance and confidence reasons and fair play ,Im just to tight to junk a good tyre

just had to replace a brand new dunlop 190/50/17 due to a puncture and fitted a 180/55/17 with no difference to the performance of the bike etc

180/55 is fine on our bikes

Ebay tyre or M3 on the back will be fine.
When I was skint before I would run anything, mix & match without any probs. Tried to stick to same manufacter if poss tho
