Hi all, as we know if i press the button on my ignition key the alarm beeps and disarms the imobiliser, and then start the rsv. My alarm isnt beeping and im still able to start bike, now my indicators on the right side of the bike arent working however if i change the relay they do but not as bright, and irractically as well. Ive found next to the battery a mini blade fuse 15amp thats blown if i replace this will it the send my alarm stupid and make the bike unstartable. I hate electrical probs and bless you all if you can nail this bloody rubbish for me.
All the best a most fed up rsv owner.. :confused:angry

yeah .. take it off ... every alarm I've had on bikes have caused hassle ... no one takes any notice of them either

easy to do

replace the fuse, see what happens. the 357 is a pretty good alarm but doesnt like flat batteries. sometimes discharging it fully and restarting fixes them.
Worth putting the fuse in and trying it. If it misbehaves still, cut it out.
If you are deffo removing it.. please send it my way.. im trying to fault find mine and could do with the spares (I HAVE to fix things.. its a curse)

I've had the same problem, and yes leaving the battery off for a few hours then putting it back on seems to work to get it going again.

Hey Skullface im gonna rip it out so you wannit then send me ya homie details buddy. Can i get rid of key fob does it come apart ??

yeah i could do with a fob to match it or its dead.. might be my radio board that is playing up :S

yes keyfobs come apart.. is yours attached to the key, like a bmw car etc? palstic case pops open with a butter knife, and a small scre holds the blank in.
