prefer the older ones (sorry badger) voted for sprocker as i do like the yellow version and the other one doesn't look like it gets past the garage door(looks like a bit of a collector to me but may be wrong)

I have to agree with RS3mille on this one,I mean i love and polish mine weekly and theres no way i can get it as clean as that you only have to look at the heal plates on your bike they've not been touched by the heal of a boot and the ones on sprockers bike look like mine no matter how much auto sol i put on them i sorry if i offend you but it's my opinion the bike just doesn't look like it's ridden that much but it's up to you if you want to buy these bikes polish them take a picture of them put them on a forum and then ask someone to put you up for bike of the month:thatsgay

I am not offended by you i just think it odd just because someone has a cleaner bike than you it can`t be being used. the heelplates have a layer of venturefilm over them so they will not mark this film is also on the back of the tank and bellypan and headlight.
autosol is just too course and not what i would use as the heelplates have a lacquer coat on them and this will remove it over time.Any tips on cleaning just ask.
At the end of the day i am proud of my bikes and i think it is ok to show off what i have done myself to them ,sorry if it upsets you but thats way it goes.

Hippo, that's a bit harsh fella, Ian obviously takes immense pride in his bikes and spends alot of time creating something truly stunning imho. What difference does it make that's it's not ridden as much as yours :dunno. Be good to see some actual pictures of your RSVR Nera fella :thumbup

Hi Ian,

I am actually interested in some tips to clean my bike. I can't seem to get any succes from the mate black parts on the side fairings. By using Wurth wax they look "whitish" instead of black. By using Mr Sheen, it improves but not a lot. Also, what the hell did you do with those calipers! You didn't get my vote but love your bike. :thumbup

No problem if you did`nt vote for me,i have never had a matt bike before so i am just guessing here but you could try something like autoglym vinyl /rubber cleaner but it would give a more gloss look to the panels.i would try this on a small area out of view to see if you like the result first.also a few years back i had a matt black marin mountain bike and i had can of polish from my local bike shop that went on like a clear fluid and you rubbed it in with a cloth then it would dry to a matt finish with no white marks or streeking,i was a germen product but i have no idea of the name of it sorry.

i agree with legs, rsv of the month is about how nice your bike is/what youve done to it ect, iandunn still bought the bike, added all the parts himself and keeps it looking as new,its a very nice looking mille and stands out from a standard one, anyone with an rsv deserves to be nominated by another member, they dont nominate themselves and as its currently 2nd in the poll, quite a few agree,if anyone doesnt like it ,simply dont vote for it imho.
personaly,i think it looks great.

sergi,i use autoglym bumper care on my black plastic bits and it brings em back to new,it comes out as a gel and removes any dried white polish marks ect mate.

Little1, i'm with you, i'm only assuming Hippo owns a Nera as that's what's on his avatar details and his garage shows some library photo's of a Nera

Come on Hippo, post some nice piccies up fella. I don't think we've had a Nera owner on here :dunno

Voted Iandunn. Sorry Sprocker & Badger, both cracking looking bikes but I just love that colour combi of Ian's. Mind you, yellow is kinda cool, even though my lovely lady sais she'd throw me out if I got a yellow one :biggrin
