you cant do it yourself it has to be done by a dealer with the axone machine, map 1 is to get the bike through the emisions but the bike runs alot better on map 2 smoother low down the revs, It takes about 10 min to do some dealers charge half hour labour some charge the full hour.
I'd ask them to do it whilst you were there. Few people have sad they've had it done only to find out it's on map 1 when checked. When on the machine it's easy to see whether it says one or two but you only have their word they've done it.
