I would would travel any distance for a good recommended dealer ( i took mine 65mile for the service) Fusebox is 93 miles from me, but he comes highly recommended and would do a proper job :thumbup doesn't always pay to use the nearest garage chris :thumbup

mmmmmm well a reputation is a reputation.
I have sold my mitsubishi Evolution 8 so i know how good a reputation is when it comes to something like this.
as long as we can turn it around in a day then i would be happy :thumbup

I would go with Griff everytime as he is one of us.
Although Im in france if he can get over here before the TT he can service mine anyday.

RSchris cost of the service is £275 no hidden vat or naughty little surcharges that some shops will convienently not tell you about!
To tell the truth guys i fookin hate it when shops are sly with there prices pisses me right off , if i get it wrong i take it on the chin and honour the price , i will ALWAYS call if i find a problem before i rectify it , if its going to take a while to sort cos i'd have to charge for that ! (not unreasonable i think). i think a couple of customers might have been sick of the sound of me and roy last year!
The most common issue that i come accross is the bungs in the exhaust, they must come out to do the job properly you need to remove them to adjust the CO readings on each cylinder. They seem to be very rarely removed in the past and can be a problem! weve got all the bits in stock and you can normally remove them in an hour , but its an issue that can be resolved before the service and save yourself a few quid in the meantime!

Cheers Griff - not worried about you loading the bill, just trying to budget for my Mille's special treat! Just to be clear, does the £275 incude standard service parts such as plugs, air/oil filter, etc?

yep mate thats the lot! You metion the air filter,just clarify i would clean the air filter not replace it unless it required replacement, in which case i would advise that it needs replacement! replacement of the air filter isnt in the service schedule until 9375 miles, but by this time a large percentage of the bikes that i see have a K+N filter in it or a airbox kit fitted anyway!
customer gets the choice, thats the important bit!
