I'm having an issue maybe someone can help me. Recently had the bike serviced and switched to map 2. I have the Evo airbox, Leo exhausts, and 520 chain conversion installed. After coming back from the dealer in gears 1-4 up to about 5000rpm she sort of lurches. It feels like a lack of constant fuel delivery. I removed the evap canister under the tail and it seems to help slightly. The dealer tells me it is just the gearing but it wasn't doing it before so I have a hard time buying that. Suggestions?

Just responded to your post on the Apriliaforum too...

Guessing they switched you to Map2 but did not bother re-syncing the throttle bodies. Don't believe its anything to do with the gearing, the dealer is spouting crap....

I also have a problem since I switched to Map2 and my Tigcrafts. At tickover the rev's rise and fall by approx 500rpm, any ideas? I had the o2 set at the same time, could it be the throttle bodies too?

i am also on map 2 mine between 3000 & 4000 rpm has a little cough/sneeze dont remember it doin it before map 2 i have just got used to it,,,

CO / Throttle Body sync is the same thing.

Do you know what they set your CO to?

I have no idea mate, it's going back in for some warrenty work next week so I may get it reset. Any idea what the best setting would be? it currently has Tigs and a K&N filter?

Thankjs

I'm running 60mm Tigs and a Rene air kit - Think the CO was set to about 3.8% if I remember correctly. May be worth giving Don or Andy at Southern Cross a ring and asking what they set the bikes to.

Mine is smooth from low down and idles well.
