has anyone found luggage that works with the Tuono? Obviously not built to be a tourer, but it might be nice to take along a six pack, or take work clothes on the drive to the office.

thanks

I tour on my Triumph Sprint, but have taken my T on some weekend trips and have tried a couple of setups. The first that worked fairly well was a Bags-Connection tail bag, I can't recall exactly which model I bought, but they offer a wide range of sizes and I was impressed by the build quality of the bag. I also purchased a Ventura rack system (picked a used system up cheap from in another Tuono forum). This system is great for packing for a long weekend, but you need to be careful which way you install the bracket as I found out the hard way that one way touches the tail cowl and the other does not. I am also considering replacing my gas cap with a Yoyodyne cap so that I can get a moto-sw bracket and use my Bags-Connection tank bag on the T. I've held off making this purchase only because I am finding it tough to shell out over $100 for a gascap. That said, I will only use a Bags-Connection tank bag on any of my bikes. They are easy to install and remove and the bag does not touch the tank. I have never been able to find a tank bag that will not scuff the tank if it lays on the tank. All that it takes is a bit of sand under the bag and a few hours of riding you end up with a scuffed tank.

famsa, google it. UK supplier is windingroads.com or .co.uk

Not cheap but very good.

Gotta be Ventura for me. I've had tonnes of stuff on, massive bag and all the camping gear. None of it touches the bike so no scuffs.

got a second hand ventura rack, and had it stripped, zinc coated and then powder coated white (cause i'm a tart, wanted it to match the bike - and it was a fantastic deal, £25 all in!)
Had a oxford sports pannier and tailpack on my cbr600rr which worked really well. Would fit the tuono, but wanted something different. Got the old luggage for sale if your interested!

dont overload a rentec rack or tie it down to tight,i did and it sheared the 2 poxy 6mm bolts holding it on underneath ! oh i was half way to switzerland with the wife ,apart from that the tuono was a joy apart from the fuel stops !i also had a baglux tank cover and bag ,a big tank bag really keeps the wind off you on a naked althou you then cant get your head down to far .

defo ventura, once you have the frame, you can add a sports rack or the bigger touring rack, assorted luggage for it as well! bit on the expensive side though.

Competition Accessories just moved their distribution center 20 minutes away, and tehy seem to have a big selection of GIVI, so I'm going to see if they have a mounting system that will work w/ the Tuono.

Ventura.
I have a small Tweety bag on my baglux cover for wallet/phone/glasses/camera for day outs.
A T roll bag on the small ventura rack for weekends
1 x 45 litre Ventura bag for week long tours.
2 x 45 litre ventura bags (zipped together) for two week tours.

No fuss no bungy straps no plastic bags nothing hanging off the side
