Hi all
well come the new year I'll be looking for a new Tuono as the old one is now in 2 parts. A nice :crazy woman in her ford decided to turn right as I was approaching her at 60mph.... :banghead
Two broken legs, (right thigh and left tib and fib) a 6 day stop in hospital... a flight in the air ambluance have put pay to my riding for a while :-(
I'm now home with a 10/12 week wait till i can get back on a bike (as been told by the doctor)
so looking forward to a new year , a new T and a new start

Ouch. **** man could have been a lot worse - get better soon and I like your attitude :thumbup

EEk man, and it was a white one; noooo.

Glad your pretty much ok; a few factories being sold recently - that's the route I'd go.

At least your lay off is over winter, back up and running in the spring.

Get well soon Breeny.

Thats everyones nightmare & it keeps on happening.

I take it she just "did not see you", no excuse with the bike lights permanently on.

That old saying is so true, treat everyone like they are out to get you.

Bad crack mate. Bloody women drivers, probably putting lippy on, or blabbing on her fone.
A bit compen should help ease the pain, and a new bike to look forward to.
Get well soon mate

nivir good tae hear o these things B min.....a soberin reminder tae awe us loons as wir thrashin aboot.........hope ye mend soon:thumbup

Tough one, hang in there and summer will be here soon enough.

oowya!, oowya! nae greeting nae greeting! That sounds sair Bmin. I've hid a puckle "affs' misel ower the years. Broken legs, skin grafts, and several gravel rash stingers. As Rico says, it's a reminder o fit is lying oot there waiting for us. But we ken the risks afore we ging oot. However, fit dis mac it annoying is when it's someone else fault.

I think I read somewhere that if a car and bike have an accident, whether it's the car pulling oot or whatever, it still goes doon as a bike incident. Nae wonder insurance goes up sometimes.

the insurance company should say to her " so you were involved in a bike accident were you, you pulled out you say, and the bike came from nowhere eh? Well we are putting up your insurance by 100% however we will cover the cost of a new sight test you blind fooking bint"

Get well soon Breeny, as the guys have said the only saving grace about the lay off is its over the Winter.
hope you find a good deal

Thanks for all the words of encouragement, a long way to go but will get there. see you on the road in the new year

****, nightmare mate, glad your ( reasonably ) ok and hope to see you soon at another trackday, love your attitude, dont let the fuckers grind you down !!
Next time you wanna run Cadwell give me a shout !

bad news that breeny, dont want to put a downer on things so dont take this the wrong way, broke my tib and fib on a trials bike, doc put my leg in full plaster told me to come back in 2 weeks to get it changed for a half cast and told me it will take up to 12 weeks before its ok, im'e self employed so that was bad news 12 weeks no money, anyway cut a long story short after about 4 ops and 16 months later i was back on 2 feet with left leg half inch shorter than the right one long plate and nine screws in my leg. hope you make a full recovery verey soooooon take care and get back on a T.
