Looked like a right fookin **** :-O

LOL

had to laugh

just been out for a few hours while the weather is good, bike runs real nice. dead happy

on the way home i came to a set of lights i cross almost everyday, 2 lanes, so i filter through as you do.......then the lights turn green as i'm about 4 cars from the front.........tap the throttle to get myself to the front quickly and the fookin front end reached for the sky:eek2

so i passed the 4 cars almost vertical, chopped the throttle off sharpish and she slammed down half way accross the junction, i tap it again and the fooker came right up on me again:eek2:eek2.....

by this time i had cleared the junction and thort ****, must of been in 1st not 2nd, so snatched 2nd gear and thort lets get out of here quick to save embarrassment and fook me it only did it again, this time veering off into the oncoming traffic:scared

LOL

i aint laffed so much for years, all the way back home i was grinning away.

the drivers must of thought what a right **** he was!!!!!!!!

must get me a gear indicator..........

Kev

Sounds like a barrel of larfs mate, have had near similar experience as that when i first changed my gearing to 16/44 :biggrin What gearing are yer running Kev?

just put the 16T on yesterday, stock 42T on the back.

proper shocker i can tell ya :doug

been out for a good few hours and i was hitting the throttle as hard as i could and it never pulled the front all morning, but obviously not in 1st!!!!!!!!

have to say tho, it's rock hard compared to my '94 blade, which is setup to suit a 16st rider. so plush, stable, planted etc. the mille is good, don't get me wrong, real impressed how stable it is, even with odd tyres. it's just too god damm stiff!!!!! every pimple or pebble is felt.

think the next thing i will sort out is getting the suspension setup properly, either at a K-tech (who did the blade for the previous owner) or by myself over the winter

feels about the same as the blade now with the 16T on it.

lol, still laffin

Kev

Visit Griff in Tamworth mate, he'll show you how to set up the suspension to suit your riding style.

Have you checked that the rear shock linkage isn't siezed up, mine was when I bought it and it was diabolical to ride?

will check the linkage, but i think it's not a problem, just the blade is so supple and comfortable

Who is Griff by the way?

'Fusebox' is his forum name and what he doesn't know about RSV's ain't worth knowing.

PM him and see if he is running a suspension workshop soon, have him set up your throttle bodies and CO settings whilst your there.

arite kev!

'ow am yam??

good to hear of another fellow mille rider in the area!
