Anybody else suffered from the incompetence of Midlands Superbikes?! :jack

Did you point the damage out to them ? and what did they say about it :dunno

Yea! Went mad! They tried to feed me some crap that the paint was already flaking off!

keep hassling them.....tell them you expect some sort of compensation....otherwise you'll take it further

Well if they noticed the paint was flaking off why did they continue without telling you about it first :jack Keep pushing for some recompense i'm sure you should be entitled for something :dunno

a friend of mine did
never went back to them

I use to pop in there alot when i lived close (3 miles)
they even had my bike there for sale at one point but it was looked after

They turn around loads of bikes, 2 many for what the workshop can deal with
there use to only be about 3 maybe 4 in there if that

Where do you live cheesy? I live in Market Harborough pretty much oposite the bloody place! I was supposed to have an MOT done at the same time and they informed me that the head bearings had gone, OK i'll give it to them that was true, but they were gonna charge me over £350 to change them!! Stear clear folks!

when i was in there alot i lived in sibbertoft
based in oakham but have just taken a new job in norfolk

unless things have changed they don't do the mot's, they take them to spenders motorcycles up the road

£350, there having a giraffe

I didn't realise they took them to spenders! Nathan's quite sound, i would have just gone straight there if i'd known. Ended up getting it all done at RJS (or summut like that) with the dudes at mallory park. Them guys are legends! did it for half the price and he set my suspension up for my weight for next to bugger all!

I had Pro tyre dent my wheel in 2 places fitting a tyre.

Luckily it was a first fit from new and they always check the wheels before and sign their form to say they checked it for damage.
When the wheel came back dented they couldn't dispute it and had to have it repaired.

My advice is ask them to check over your wheel first and then write down any marks so they can't dispute it afterwards.

The guys at mallory certainly know there way
Round a mille, did some good work on a mates mille on dyno
With good results

As spoonz said, in future, get your wheel faults listed before anyone new can touch it, i had a brand new wheel out of motts in basingstoke after some **** there trashed a wheel on my new bandit.

Took some fighting, and got a new wheel in the end, stand up for your rights and don't be fobbed off, you know they are tossers, you know you aint going back there again, so go for it and really upset them, and get a new wheel :biggrin
