Just had a knock at the door... *Turns out the neighbour just disturbed some little plick trying to wheel my bike away!!! * Little fooker dropped it and ran off!!

Few scratches... *Fairing, mirror and end can... * Didn't break the steering lock so no idea where he thought he was going?!?

My biggest worry now is that my front break lever goes right back to the grip, I need to pump it a few times to get anything... * Think that's because the fluid needs to get back around the system or something a little more serious???

sounds like it just needs a proper bleed mate. its probably got air in the line due to the fall. im sure all you will need to do is bleed it properly. you may need to do the clutch too.
At least the little **** did not get your bike. Hope you catch him if he tries it again. take care

My mate caught some kid tryin to get his bike lock off, He sneaked up behind him and knocked him out. Then undid his lock and rode off over the kids leg lol.
As said shame you didnt catch him!

The master cylinder pipe will have been exposed to air, like porgie says, a bleed will sort it. Little ****** (the scrote not porgie !!)

BTW i trick i use for bleeding brakes: bleed the brakes as normal, then hold the lever back over night with a cable tie etc, helps get the micro air bubbles out of the system, really helps

Good tip mak595, it does really help! Massive difference!.

Make sure the lever is pulled straight back, and doesnt twist at the hinge. A few times wont hurt, but iv seen some snap on race bikes that have had them cabled back in a van. More worryng, snap afterwards when rolling the bike down a ramp! sod that heading hot into a bend!

When the Aa muppet strapped my brembo radial brake lever to the bar.. It popped the Hel front brake line, so not a good idea on bikes with radial brake pumps idea!!,
Glad the bikes not too damaged matey
fekkers!

The brake seems fine now... And no drama with the clutch so I'm happy with that, still pi$$ed at the scratches and mainly the nerve of people these days!!

Thanks for the replies..
The mrs seemed quite happy about it late last night.. Had some frustration to take out!! ;)

Think i would rather have the line pop in a AA van than on the road barreling into a corner!!! But surely it was a faulty line? a braided hose sould hold pressure all day long if it's the correct spec etc....

Mak mate, i didnt see hum do itbut he had the lever actually strapped back right to thebar, which was enough to pop it
