Hi lads Taxed my bike on Saturday morning and noticed that the MOT runs out on the 16th of this month:rant to say i was pissed was an understatment, finally get the beast back on the road and only have 6 days to ride it before the MOT bloody timing!

Anyway what i wanted to ask was i need to sort a few last little niggles ready for the Mot

1, Problem with the indicators basically i fitted a 2nd hand relay as mine magically disapered at the crash, whats happening is when i indicate right all is good both indicators flash at the correct speed and also get the green light on the dash perfect! When i indicate left all i get is the front indicator stays permently on no flash and the rear doesnt light up at all, and there is also no light on the dash:confused any ideas lads PROBLEM SOLVED

2, Fans Are still not working i know its hard to diagnose the problem but was wondering what the main faults are or any way of testing to see if a particular part isnt working:confused

3, Since the accident ive noticed a very random fault when i gun it the dash goes crazy petrol light comes on rev clock goes crazy and the engine just dies for a split second then comes back again, personally i think it might be a loose wire from the crash just wondering if anyone knows which one it might be

I know its abit of a hard one to solve over here but any help would be much apreciated :thumbup

Check your indicator bulbs m8.

Those symptoms are indicative of one or more bulbs being either knackered/blown or needing removed and reseated.

Had the same last week with mine, left hand indicators worked fine but when I tried the right hand ones, the front came on and stayed lit but the rear did nothing.

Popped the lens cover off, took the bulb out to check it ( it was fine ) and put the bulb back in.

Voila - working indicators again. :thumbup

oh also if the bulb is blown any idea which one i should ask for as a replacement?

If you post a picture of the bulb i can give you a part no. Any motor factors can supply one, about 30p.

Rsv Cosse ya little Gem you were 100% correct it was all down to the contact in the holder just bent it up a bit and it was Golden Nice one buddy

Cheers SuperTed for the offer
