Kill Switches

B

Beanie

On my old il4's if i came into a tunnel at full revs, hit the kill switch, and opened the throttle and turned the kill switch to back on, i used to get a lurverly bang out of the can.:thumbup

What i was wondering is if i do the same on my rsv, will it do the same, or will it lock the back wheel up? seeing as they are a ******* to bump start.....

Know my brother can do it on his 748,

well funny at bus stops.

never tried on the mille tho.

Give it a try and let us know as i did it on my zx7 its good fun to see the fuc_ers jump

Won't do anything as the Mille is fuel injected.
As soon as you hit the kill switch it stops injecting fuel.
It would work on a bike with carbs as they rely on airflow to draw in fuel.

Doesn't the kill switch only kill the power to the cdi, fuel pump etc should run off the ignition switch, always used too, or has it changed on these models.

Who wants to test the theory for me, someone must have a tunnel to test it in:thumbup

I tried it coming back from germany in towards rotadam it doesnt work as the power loss kills the fuel
