hi guys and galls firstly thanks for the advice you ave given to me so far

well i ave one more question when my rsv mille is running the kill switch does not turn the bike off it keeps going any ideas

going to mot her on monday oh happy days

does it start with the kill switch in, if so i would guess its not disconnecting the contacts , strip it down and inspect
 
poss when you push in the switch it isnt breaking or making the connection , you will have to take it apart to see
 
This is the only part of my bike that has failed me (so far). Its quite easy to take off break open and inspect and reasonably cheap (£40.00) to replace, if necessary.

Its better to do it as sooner rather than later, I've read of a number of guys who have been left stranded as a result of faulty switch.
 
Guys, if you have any problems with kill switches, then buy a new one. Once they start playing up, usually due to corrosion, then they should be replaced. Not only do they cause starting problems but the last thing you want on a hefty v twin is the bike cutting out mid corner
