KB's ride report.9/4/11

Once again the weather was lovely here,womenfolk out for the day,....best get the bike out then!:yes
Did'nt get very far when she started missfiring and then cut out completely.I noticed the sidestand light was glowing on despite being in the up position.Pulled into a feild gateway.Out with the toolkit and took off the switch.Mangled it round untill the stand light went out.Put a tie wrap thru it to stop it moving and then tie wrapped it to the bike.Switch was cracked across the back,so I may of overtightened it when I changed the sidestand.:bawlingWas gonna go home,then I thought fook it,lets keep going.
Had a great ride,taking in 4 counties.(Cambs,Lincs,Northants and ,...erm,Rutland.:rolleyes)Roads were very busy around Stamford as folks were heading to the Mid Lent fair.Lots of bikes out too.The Bourne road was like a fookin track day.No wonder it gets loused out with coppers.Anyroadup,heres a pic of the bike at the Harringworth/Seaton viaduct.Its the longest bricks and mortar viaduct in the country.

Nice one KB, glad your getting back out mate. We had a decent raz yesterday and I gotta admit to being a tad pooped this morning. Friggin hard work throwing them T's about sometimes but worth it eh. Awesome machines.

Aldo,....I did ride a small section of that road.My mate could'nt join me as he was working.He's a compressor service engineer.Lucky ******* was working at the Cosworth factory where they were testing an F1 engine to destruction.Noise was incredible!:eek
