Newbie here

Just thought I'd very quickly say hi. Just found this forum (purposly of course) as its time to go bike hunting again and Im thinking of a Tuono. Now 45 been riding for 40 years! but been bikeless for the last 3 due to a range of circumstances (disk taken out of my back and living overseas) Well back now and getting that urge, always had inline 4s until I bought a falco back in 2002 whcih I really liked. Want a bit of a hooligan tool but with an upright riding style and a bit of character (noticed the question about the speed triple which I was also looking at). Im pretty set on a Tuono just deciding how much to sepnd and if its worth the extra money going for the better version.

Anyway will keep an eye on the forum and no doubt be posting some questions

Hi f

Go for the Tuono! The common theme on here is people your sort of age (I'm the same age as you) who have ridden many bikes over the years and have now got a Tuono and find it suits perfectly - comfortable, practical, but mad as a box of frogs when you're in the mood. People tend to hang on to them.....

Welcome falco man, get yersel a T there's no bigger hooligan to be had.

Alright Kev, just get a T mate. Just like an up right Falco. :thumbup

Hmmm, Rico may be the only guy I know that refers to his bike as a "boy".

Welcome mate. My little Andiamo can be a temperamental little princess, but mother of god she makes me soooo happy. Another of the slightly busted up over 40 crowd here. I love my T cuz I can pootle about, then thrash the kids soundly. Best bike fer me.

Welcome m8y the tuono will suit you down to the earth

And yes I would go for the "better" version as you put it, its a matter of luxury :thumbup

Ah dinna believe it was my bike ah wiz referin tae Shovel.my ever observant friend..... mines actually a transvestite transexual T....
