Hi, Thought it was best to introduce myself as I will be taking asas the title says I've just got myself a 8000ml 2011 APRC model Tuono, I've been after one for a few years but house moves and kids have stopped me getting one.

Anyway the bike is fitted with the RSV4 tail piece which I reckon looks the nuts and a Akra can which sounds like Rossi's bike at full chat.

I'm looking forward to finding out about the bikea dn what if anything needs improving but most importantly I'll be getting out and enjoying it while the sun shines.

Winter for improving and summer time for riding!!!

Welcome mate, I have the same yaer model and i'd love that tail too!

Might upgrading the starter motor cables to some thicker ones to rid yourself of the hot/slow start issue but all else get on out on it :)

Cheers Gave,

The bloke I bought the from mentioned that he had had problems with the bike starting after stopping for fuel a couple times, he thought there was a map update that could be done at next service to solve it, but looking at the forum I think the battery cable upgrade looks like it maybe the way to go initially. More time on the bike will help me decide whats needed.

Mine had all the updates when I bought it a couple months ago, and I was still getting a hot start problem, You may find it was like mine and it still starts, just takes 7-8 very slow cranks.

I bought a set of cables from a guy here(or his facebook) I'm sure Rizla will be along shortly to help with his name. they cost £60 and after I fitted them (easy job, bit of fiddling and 2 wires to cut but nothing scary) but now it starts from Very hot in 2 cranks no matter what.

I can bet youll love the bike though, find some twisties and let loose :)

You rang?

Welcome to the mad world of the V4 [emoji106]

John Walker is the guy that builds the kit you want for any hot start issues.

I have one from him and wholeheartedly recommend him.
