I'll be looking out!
There is a really comfy bunkhouse up here too. Sleeps six,
Google Cornmill bunkhouse and check it out.
There are some really good rides to be had in this neck of the woods, not many pubs though
As it's all hotels.

If you're coming all the way to Lands End then for the best roads you need to head for North Devon (Minehead, Porlock, Ilfracombe) after that aim for Great Torrington (avoid the A39, big fast road but you'd be missing out on some of the best twisties if you went that way! plus loadsa rozzers) aim for Tavistock then overnight in Plymouth....I can show you the Cornish roads out to Padstow (nice pub lunch there) and from there you'll be free to explore all the way down to Lands End :)

I'm from Thurso

I had a mate called Neil from Thurso ... Neil Reid to be precise. His dad was part owner of a charter boat that was lost with all hands (other partner out on it that day - not Neils dad) about 1983 ish ...

Neil invited me up to stay at his parents one year ... rode from Edinburgh on a GS125E ... saddle like an engineering brick. I had an absolutely bloody brilliant time.

Went to see a top notch heavy band called Blaze ... in a Town hall (?)

Pissed up every night ... (just loved the Royal Hotel!) with a red puddin supper to settle the stomach

Fishing in Soulseat loch

Superb crack

Merry Christmas belatedly everyone.
Can't wait for the weather to cheer up a bit here. I bought a dehumidifier
Last year, forget heating your garage, these things are amazing.
My little garage was dampish but bearable with some attention
To the bike on a very regular basis and I used to suffer
From condensation too.... All gone. Plus the heat from the unit
Noticeably raises the temperature. Now for the mice!
